Susan Adams: Art
Ms. Adams received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art at Wilkes College; Masters of Science in Elementary Administration at the University of Scranton and Ph.D.,A.B.D. in Educational Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She was employed as a district circulation manager at Wilkes-Barre Publishing Co from 1978-79, WV high school art teacher from 1980-86 and as elementary art teacher from 1986 to the present. Her extra curriculars at WV include: Junior class advisor (1980-84); Coverall advisor (1980-86); Adult Education instructor (1981); In-service committee (1981-83); Elementary building committee (1988-92). She is a member of Pi Lamda Theta and Kappa Delta Pi. Honors received include Pottsville Republican Newspaper Advisor Award (1981-86), 2006 Crayola Gold Star Teacher, 2006-07 Cambridge Who's Who of Executives and Professionals, 2007-08 & 2008-09 Who's Who of American Women, 2008 Who's Who in America, 2009 Who's Who in the World. In her community she has been a den mother (2002-03), a base coach for the Cressona Pirates Tee Ball league (2002-03) and Catechist for second grade at St. Patrick's Church in Pottsville (2002-07).

Marianne Fickinger: 2nd grade
Mrs. Fickinger earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Mansfield University and a Masters in Teaching and Curriculum degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She substituted in many Schuylkill County schools from 1994 to 1999 until she was hired to teach at All Saints School in Pottsville. At All Saints she taught seventh and eighth grade Language Arts for two years, fifth grade for three years, and was student council moderator for four years. In 2004, Mrs. Fickinger began working at Williams Valley where she was the Instructional Support teacher for two years before teaching second grade. She has been involved in after school tutoring and the summer Math, Reading and English programs. Mrs. Fickinger is a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Williamstown.

Joel Guldin: Instrumental Music, Vocal Music (grades K, 1, 3)
Mr. Guldin graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1978 with a B.S. in Music Education. He was hired as director assistant director of the high school marching band (1980-1987). In 1981 he began the Williams Valley Elementary Jazz which performed at the 1985 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association's state convention in Philadelphia, and the International Association of Jazz Educators International Convention in 1991 in Washington, D.C., IAJE's 1993 Pennsylvania convention in York, PA. Mr.Guldin has been a member of the Schwenksville Band (1978-1980), the Quakertown Band (1979-1980), the Cressona Band (1980-1986) the Music Educators National Conference (MENC), the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA), National Educators Association (NEA), the Pennsylvania School Educators Association (PSEA), and the Williams Valley Educators Association (WVEA). since 1980. Mr.Guldin served on the WVEA grievence committee and as the association treasurer in 2002.He is director of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Choir, the Jonestown Male Chorus, Oom-pah-raise (German Band), the Jonestown Brass, and the Guy Lumbago Orchestra.

Mrs. Hueston has her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She has been employed at W.V. since 1997 where in addition to teaching third grade she has taught summer science enrichment, summer math, and after school math and reading. She is a member of Pi Lambda Theta Education Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and was listed in Who's Who Among American Teachers in 2005,2006,and 2007. Mrs. Hueston has been a Sunday school teacher (nursery class) at St Peter's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove since 2000.
Mandi Jobe: 5th grade
Miss Jobe is a Williams Valley graduate who earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomsburg University. She gained teaching experience as a substitute teacher before becoming an ESL teacher at the Intermediate Unit for one year. In 2008, Miss Jobe was hired by the Williams Valley School District to teach at the fifth grade level; the position which she currently holds. She also is one of the teachers with the Schuylkill County Century 21 After School program.
Carol Kasper: 2nd grade
A graduate of Williams Valley, Mrs. Kasper attended Bloomsburg University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband Frank have been married for over 30 years and are the parents of 3 children and 2 grandchildren. They are members of Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Tower City. Mrs. Kasper is also a member of TCRC: Tower City Revitalization Committee.

Kelly Hummel: 4th grade
Mrs. Hummel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University and her Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University. She is also certified to teach Middle Level Mathematics. Before joining the staff at Williams Valley, Mrs. Hummel taught remedial math, Kindergarten, and 7th grade math and Language Arts, in addition to day-to-day substitute teaching in Berks county schools. She is a member of the ESAP team and is involved with the Summer Reading and Math programs at W.V.
Jennifer Matz: 6th grade
Mrs Matz received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lock Haven University and a Masters in Education:Teaching and Curriculum from the Pennsylvania State University. She began working at Williams Valley in 1996 teaching first grade and is currently teaching fourth grade. Her other duties at the elementary school have included summer reading camp, literature club advisor, and SME tutor. Mrs. Matz has been a mentor for Penn State student teachers in 2001, 2005, and 2006.
Sherri Meiser: Kindergarten
Kristina Miller: Title 1
Mrs. Miller graduated from Alvernia College in Reading, PA with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. She holds two Masters degrees: Masters of Education with a Reading Specialist Certificate from Kutztown University and Masters of Education in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. Before being employed by Williams Valley, she taught grades 1,3,7,and 8 at All Saints School in Pottsville. At Williams Valley, she has been a Reading Specialist, Instructional Support Teacher and currently teaches fourth grade and was involved in both the summer reading and summer math programs. From 2010- to 2013 she was an adjunct professor at Alvernia University Schuylkill Campus and a literacy coach since 2014. Mrs. Miller has been a catechist at St. Patrick's Church in Pottsville and at her home parish of St. Ambrose in Schuylkill Haven. She traveled throughout Italy in 2016.

Mrs. Moore attended Shippensburg University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She is also certified in Business Education. Currently, she is working on a Masters of Education degree in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University. She was a substitute teacher at Williams Valley before joining the faculty as a Computer Specialist for grades K - 6 and has taught after school math and reading. In 2007, she began teaching fifth grade.
Kori Nye: 1st grade
Mrs. Nye graduated from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. Mrs. Nye joined the staff of Williams Valley in 2007 as the elementary computer instructor and became a first grade teacher in 2009. She earned a Master degree in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University.

Miss Patrick received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science degree in Education Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. Her first teaching position at WV was for five years as the Instructional Support teacher (IST) and then as a fourth grade classroom teacher, the position she currently holds. She has been involved with after school tutoring in both reading and math, the summer science program, and the after school literature club. For three years Miss Patrick was an assistant coach for the little Vikes cheerleaders.

In 2005, Mrs. Stakem earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University. She began teaching at the Pine Grove Area School District in 2005. While there she taught grades 3-8, with a majority of that time spent teaching 5th grade Math and Social Studies. During that time, she earned a Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. In 2014, Mrs. Stakem returned to her alma mater as a 4th grade teacher. She is now a 5th grade teacher.

Mrs. Unger has two degrees, one from Penn State and the other from Alvernia College. Her PSU degree is in accounting and business law; her Alvernia degree is in elementary education. While at Alvernia she received the Outstanding Student Teacher Award. She is involved in the W.V.E.S. PTO, the WV Soccer Association, and Tower City girls softball.

Mrs. Wynn, a graduate of Williams Valley, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and Human Services from the Pennsylvania State University. She also earned a degree in elementary education from Alvernia College and received The Outstanding Student Teacher Award. She taught pre-school for one year in Harrisburg and for five years at the Little Cherubs Pre-school in Wiconisco. Mrs. Wynn is actively involved at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Wiconisco as a nursery attendant and children's church.

Mrs. Yashinsky received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Pennsylvania State University. She is the Math teacher for the 6th grade at the elementary and the reading teacher to her homeroom students. She is currently working on a Masters degree in Middle Level Mathematics Education from Wilkes University.

Mrs. Schappe graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Studies. She recieved her teaching certification in secondary math from Kutztown University and a Masters degree in Technology anf Curriculum from Wilkes University. From 1998-99 she taught at Cardinal Brennan, Exeter Jr. High in 1999-2000 and joined the Williams Valley staff in the fall of 2000. She was yearbook advisor at Exeter, became the assistant volleyball coach at W.V. in 2004 and has taught in the after school tutoring program since 2005. In 2007 Mrs. Shappe was listed in Who's Who Among American Teachers. She is a member of the Architectural Association, an assistant Girl Scout leader and a team mom for soccer and little league.

Mr. Shuey recieved his degree in secondary education from Penn State University with a social studies major and a history minor. He is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Penn State Alumni Association and has been named to Who's Who Among American Teachers. Mr. Shuey became the head coach for the boys soccer team in 2003, after being the assistant from 1998 - 2002. He was named Division Coach of the Year in 2003,2005, 2006, and 2007. In 2006, Mr. Shuey was honored with the title of Pottsville Republican Schuylkill League Coach of the Year. Other school activities he is involved with are as assistant girls basketball coach, run club advisor and local history club advisor. He is a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City where he has been a church council member, Bible school teacher, usher, lay assistant and youth camp advisor. He is a Coach "O" Sports Soccer Camps staff member as well as on the staff of the All - Army Sports Trial Camp and Support Activity.

Ms. Strouse graduated from Kutztown University with a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education, K-12 and received her Masters degree from Wilkes University in Classroom Technology. From 1999 to 2012, she taught learning support classes at Schuylkill Haven Area Middle School. She also served as both Dean of Students and Teacher at PA Treatment & Healing’s Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth. In 2015, Ms. Strouse joined the Williams Valley Junior/Senior High School special education teaching staff.
